Laser treatments are suitable for clients aged 18 and over. We cannot treat anyone

under 18 for laser hair removal.

You may feel a mild, warm sensation or a slight elastic “ping,” but it’s generally well

tolerated. Our Nd:YAG laser includes cooling technology to keep treatments comfortable.

No — laser does not work effectively on grey, white, red, or very light blonde hairs,

as there isn’t enough pigment in the hair follicle for the laser to target. Darker hair colours

respond best.

This is individual, however, Most clients need 8-10 sessions spaced every 4–6 weeks for

the best results. Maintenance sessions may be needed once or twice a year.

Laser offers long-term hair reduction, not one-time permanent removal. Most clients

achieve up to 80-90% reduction after a full course, with only occasional top-up sessions

needed.

• Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment.

• Avoid waxing, plucking, or epilating for at least 4 weeks prior.

• Do not apply fake tan, deodorant, makeup, or moisturiser on the treatment area before your session.

• Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for at least 2 weeks before treatment.

• If you’re taking new medication or antibiotics, let your practitioner know before your appointment.

Yes — shaving is required. The laser targets the hair root beneath the skin, so shaving

keeps the surface clear while allowing the laser to reach the follicle.

Mild redness or warmth can occur for a few hours after treatment, which is completely

normal. All risks and side effects will be discussed at your consultation. Aftercare advice will

be provided.

light energy is converted into heat, safely damaging the follicle to reduce future hair growth.
